Why So Many Theme Nights?

On September 27, we will host our very first theme night. After celebrating First Responder Appreciation Night, we have several other theme nights in the lineup that we are eagerly anticipating. This might beg the question: why so many theme nights?

Our goal in Casper, besides building a high-level hockey program that will be an asset to up-and-coming players for decades to come, is to pour back into the community by investing in local organizations. By helping to support local causes, the Warbirds can help to bolster the city of Casper. We do this because we want to give back to the community that has been so foundational for so many of us, and we hope that these theme nights will be able to serve that purpose. Since our first commitment is towards our players and the community of Casper, we are confident that theme nights will be foundational in cultivating a loyal and loving community around the Casper Warbirds.

We have many theme nights planned, such as Pink the Rink, Oktoberfest, and '80s Night. Some theme nights are linked to specific holidays and memorials, while others are just for the fun of it. But for every theme night, we will be raising funds for non-profits and specific causes, all in the hopes that we can help take care of Casper and the larger community of Wyoming.

When you sign up to join us for a theme night, you will have the opportunity to sponsor a player. Each sponsored jersey costs $550. A portion of this allows the business or individual to market their business or brand by putting their logo on the player's jersey. The other portion of the price goes directly to the non-profit or cause connected to that theme night. During some of our theme nights, such as First Responder Appreciation, Pink the Rink, and Military Appreciation, you will even be able to sponsor in honor of someone you wish to be commemorated during the event. By coming out to support the team during theme nights, you are doing far more than helping the Casper Warbirds—you are giving back to your community too.
