Casper Warbirds and BladeEdge Ventures Respond to Hostile Lease Termination by City of Casper

Casper, Wyoming — BladeEdge Ventures LLC and the Casper Warbirds are deeply disappointed to announce that the City of Casper has abruptly and unjustly terminated our lease agreement as of 11:43 AM MT on October 1, 2025. This decision was made without appropriate notice or due process, citing a disputed rental fee balance of just over $6,500, even though the month in question had only concluded the day prior.

This sudden move appears to be the culmination of a hostile and coordinated effort by certain city officials and employees, particularly within the Casper recreation department, to dismantle the Warbirds organization. The most telling sign of orchestration is the fact that multiple media outlets had published articles and social media posts within one hour of our receiving the official notification. This rapid spread of information—clearly prepared in advance—was no coincidence. It was a deliberate, 100% orchestrated campaign to undermine our organization and reputation.

The City’s actions represent a clear violation of our lease agreement, and BladeEdge Ventures will be pursuing legal action against the City of Casper for breach of contract and damages. In addition, the owners of BladeEdge Ventures will be filing individual lawsuits against specific persons responsible for harassment, defamation, and coordinated efforts to harm our operations.

To ensure full transparency, we will be publicly releasing all relevant documents, communications, and records over the coming weeks so that the citizens of Casper can clearly understand the nature and extent of the actions taken against us.

Despite these challenges, we remain focused on our mission. We are actively securing an alternative facility to allow the Casper Warbirds to continue their season without interruption. Further details will be announced soon.

We still hold out hope that, within the next few hours, the City Attorney will step in and do the right thing—by reversing this unlawful termination and preventing further damage to our organization and its relationship with the Casper community.
